About Mitchell:
Hey! I’m Mitchell Bowser. I’m a husband and father to three rambunctious daughters. I’m currently living in Minnesota, but I grew up in the central valley of California, not far from the San Joaquin River. As a kid, I spent countless days on or around the river and have continued that into my life here in Minnesota. After moving here nine years ago, I quickly started fishing and learning the rivers, streams, and lakes in our area and went from a focus on fly fishing for trout to a passion for smallmouth bass as well as pike, musky, carp, etc..
Like I mentioned, me and my wife, Mandi, have three young daughters—Summit, Scout, and Story. The name “Waters Edge” was first used by our family when we needed a name for registering our kids in home school, and Mandi came up with the name “Waters Edge World School” for our official school name as we all enjoy time in nature on and off the water and enjoy seeing new places around the world.
I enjoy fishing with people from all skill levels and walks of life, whether a seasoned vet looking to experience sight fishing to world class smallmouth or a group who has never touched a fly rod looking to try something new by wading the beautiful trout streams of our area. It’s my goal to cater every trip, whether trout or smallmouth, for each client to ensure you have the best day on the water possible.
